WEAR RUBBER OPTIMIZES PRODUCTIVITY AT RANDERS TEGL.

We have delivered our unique RG wear rubber solution to Randers Tegl, one of Northern Europe’s largest producers of bricks and tiles. One of the group’s many factories, Hammershøj Teglværk produces approx. 70 million bricks annually, which places great demands on the production facilities and equipment.

This includes a pipe bend, which is part of the production ventilation system where dust from production is sucked away. The large amounts of dust create enormous wear on the pipe bend, which meant that the pipe bend had to be replaced every 3 months. Thanks to our unique RG wear rubber, the pipe bend can last at least 2 years before our wear rubber needs to be renovated.

We are very impressed with how well their wear rubber works and have therefore also used the solution at some of our other factories

In a nutshell, we are very impressed with RG ROM GUMMI’s wear rubber solution, which we have had coated inside a pipe bend at our factory in Hammershøj. The pipe bend is part of our ventilation system, where large amounts of dust from our brick production are sucked through.

Before we became familiar with RG ROM GUMMI, we replaced our pipe bend after just 3 months because the large amounts of dust were wearing through. Now we have been using the RG ROM GUMMI wear rubber in the pipe bend for two years and it is still intact and functional.

We are very impressed with how well their wear rubber works and have therefore also used the solution at some of our other brickworks. It makes a huge difference that we don’t have to replace the pipe bend every 3 months, as replacing it causes downtime, extra resources and maintenance costs. Over a 2-year period, the replacements would add up to 32 man-hours plus the associated costs for new pipe bends.

I would therefore definitely recommend their RG wear rubber to other companies that suffer from frequent component replacement due to wear, as I’m sure it will also make a huge difference for their wear parts, as it has for ours.
